BP005758: Human EGF Protein with No Tag
Source: The recombinant Human EGF Protein, (amino acids Asn971-Arg1023) fused with No Tag, was produced in E.coli cells.
Molecular Weight:The recombinant Human EGF Protein has a predicted MW of 5.6 kDa same as Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Human EGF, No Tag at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Human EGFR, hFc tag with the EC50 of 0.82 ug/ml determined by ELISA (QC Test). The affinity constant of 0.18 nM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200).
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human EGF Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.

Source: The recombinant Human EGF Protein, (amino acids Asn971-Arg1023) fused with a hFc tag at the N-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight:The recombinant Human EGF protein with the hFc tag at the N-terminus has a predicted MW of 32.52 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 38-43 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Biotinylated Human EGFR protein with the N-hFc tag at 1 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the streptavidin precoated plate(5 ug/ml). Dose response curve for the recombinant Human EGF protein with the N-hFc tag with the EC50 of 5.5 ng/ml determined by ELISA. The affinity constant of 0.39 nM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200).
